Vegetable, algal or microbial oils, and animal fats, are feedstocks for a variety of commercial products.  The properties of those products depend on the bulk composition of the feedstock oil or fat, and impurities derived from the process of isolating the oil and fat, and the origin, the particular animal, plant, microbe, or waste source.  Also, environmental factors or previous uses can wreak havoc on purity and oil quality.   R.W. Heiden Associates tests a variety of materials and substances that contain vegetable oils and animal fats or are derived from them.    We can assist you in determining quality and product stability.  

Are you using vegetable oils and fats in your processes, as a fuel for diesel vehicles, as a feedstock for higher end chemicals or biodiesel, or as an additive or ingredient in food or feed formulations ?
